Prime minister Sherif Ismail opened the new food fair “Ahlan Ramadan”, which provides food and related products at affordable prices to help the poorest segments of society to be able to afford buying food during Ramadan. According to a press statement issued on Monday, more than 200 companies are participating in the fair and provide their products at affordable prices. Additionally, the minister of industry and the minster of supplies, as well as the governor of Cairo, attended the opening along with the prime minister. Ismail stated that many other similar fairs opened around Egypt, adding that the number of fairs that provide food around Egypt is 122. The fairs’ durations might be extended if the demand justifies it, said the prime minister according to the statement.
