Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has directed to bring maximum productive sectors under the ambit of automated monitoring to increase tax revenues and to make enforcement more effective to curb tax evasion. According to a statement issued by the Media Wing of the Prime Minister’s Office, a weekly review meeting on FBR affairs was held under the chairmanship of the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister appreciated the economic team for recruiting experts on the basis of merit in the executive team of PRAL and making PRAL a functional institution. The Prime Minister directed the Drug Regulatory Authority to complete the serialization of medicines manufactured in the country as soon as possible.
