Showing his displeasure over errant BJP leaders, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday made it clear to all party members that he would not tolerate any act of bravado by anyone, regardless of the important position he or she may hold. After virtually single-handedly propelling the BJP to a huge victory, PM Modi seems to have taken up party discipline as a serious issue from day one in his second term. "I will not compromise on party's principles which puts discipline at the top and has earned people's faith after spending a lot of sweat and blood," PM Modi told the party MPs. PM Modi and other senior party leaders gave a pep talk to the new MPs and told them about the importance of discipline and attendance in the parliament. The new MPs were told to take an active part in the proceedings of the house and listen to their seniors.
