Ardern and Covid-19 Response Minister Chris Hipkins spoke at a post-Cabinet press conference today. Hipkins confirmed 1500 people were tested yesterday in Northland - on a testing per 1000 basis, Maori were tested the most. "We're ready to go when we get vaccines," Hipkins said. Medsafe will be seeking advice and recommendations from the Medicines Assessment Advisory Committee (MAAC) next Tuesday, about the Pfizer and BioNTech vaccine, Ardern said.
