Ardern and Covid-19 Response Minister Chris Hipkins spoke at a post-Cabinet press conference today. "We're ready to go when we get vaccines," Hipkins said. Asked about vaccine sceptics, Ardern said that would be a smaller group in New Zealand. Medsafe will be seeking advice and recommendations from the Medicines Assessment Advisory Committee (MAAC) next Tuesday, about the Pfizer and BioNTech vaccine, Ardern said.
