ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines — A cleanup of the bombed-out Jolo cathedral has begun even as investigators have yet to finish their task of positively identifying the perpetrators of the carnage. Involved in the cleanup were local government workers and firefighters as well as volunteers from the Muslim community. The Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) has extended funding assistance for the repair of the cathedral. A day after the Jolo cathedral blast, President Duterte ordered the military to pulverize the Abu Sayyaf.
