BANGI: Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Pribumi) founding member Anina Saadudin (pic) has announced her resignation from the party. Anina, who was in tears, said she was disillusioned with Pribumi's struggles, claiming that the party no longer practised the principles of justice, transparency and integrity in its administration. Anina also slammed Pribumi for her abrupt removal as chief of the party's women's wing Srikandi in December last year. Anina, a former Langkawi Wanita Umno member, was sacked in September last year after openly criticising and initiating court action against party president Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak. However, Pribumi president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin refuted Anina's claim, saying that there was no need to send out invitations because the celebration is open to all members.
