CAIRO - 29 May 2024: The official spokesperson for the Egyptian Presidency, Ahmed Fahmy, stated that President Xi received President Sisi at the Great Hall of the People. President Xi praised Egypt's pivotal role and continuous efforts in maintaining calm and facilitating humanitarian aid. Both presidents agreed on the necessity of an immediate ceasefire and rejected the forced displacement of Palestinians from their lands. President Sisi underscored the paramount importance of securing Egypt's water security.
