WHAT HAPPENEDGiving his defence before Milimani Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi, Mr Gichira narrated how he was allegedly mishandled by officials of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) at Anniversary Towers in Nairobi. He said he walked towards Mr Chebukati’s office but a security officer grabbed him from behind. Mr Gichira said he was locked up until late while being accused of trying to commit suicide. He was unable to present his papers at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre the following day, alongside other presidential hospital.
