ISLAMABAD: President Arif Alvi has stressed the need for training the youth keeping in view the demand of the industry and revolutionary changes taking place in science and technology in order to achieve the objectives of socio-economic development. The President noted that Naya Pakistan will only happen if knowledgeable people come forward and play their part in society. Referring to his initiative in artificial intelligence, the President said this will help produce one hundred thousand trained people in artificial intelligence and cloud computing. He said China has gone into a great firewall security system and Pakistan also needs to ensure that all its systems are well protected. He said emerging technologies have also opened new doors of socio-economic development and we also need to invest in research to achieve the objective of development.
