The President of the High Council of State (HCS), Khalid Al-Mishri, called on the Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR), Aqila Saleh, on Wednesday, to hold an urgent meeting between them in Tripoli or Tobruk or any place that suits to push the political dialogue forward. In a speech to the nation, Al-Mishri demanded that all conflicting parties should put aside their differences, adding that the High Council of State is seeking to activate mechanisms of transitional justice and national reconciliation. He reminded the international community of the decision of the UN Security Council against those who refuse to cooperate and deal with the bodies involved in the political agreement. He also called on the UN mission in Libya to take quick steps to help pull the country out of the current crisis.
