NewsPresident Maithripala Sirisena hosted an Ifthar ceremony at President's House last evening (7) for Islamic devotees observing the daily Ramadan fast. Blessings were also invoked at the ceremony to bring peace, unity and reconciliation to the country. Addressing the gathering, President Sirisena stated that the ceremony marks yet another important step in efforts to build reconciliation and unity among communities in the country.
