President Zuma’s 783 Charges: DA Pleased Zuma Will Finally Face The Law

South Africa’s Supreme Court of Appeal (SCA) approved a demand the Democratic Alliance (DA) party tabled concerning President Zuma’s 783 charges. And, the party is glad that the President will finally face the law for the alleged crimes. You’ll recall that it was in April 2009 that the DA applied for a review of the decision to drop the 783 charges against President Zuma. The decision to drop President Zuma’s 783 charges was made by Mokotedi Mpshe. After many court cases in both the High Court and the SCA, the DA successfully got the North Gauteng High Court to set aside Mpshe’s decision.
