President Bola Tinubu has ordered the Department of State Services (DSS) to vacate the office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Ikoyi, Lagos, immediately. Earlier on Tuesday morning, the DSS reportedly laid siege to the premises of the EFCC in Lagos. However, the DSS high command denied barricading the entrance to the EFCC zonal office in Lagos. Dismiss any falsehood of a fight.”The Nigerian public has expressed concerns over the reported power struggle between the DSS and EFCC leading to the siege. Despite the reported tensions between the two agencies, President Tinubu has reiterated his commitment to ensuring that the fight against corruption in Nigeria continues.
