Addis Ababa, March 13, 2026 (FMC) — The FDRE President Taye Atske-Selassie said Ethiopian Airlines Group should continue to strengthen its ongoing efforts to enhance its international reputation and competitiveness during a tour of the airline’s operations today. It is noteworthy that Ethiopian Airlines Group recently stood first in the 12th National Quality Awards Competition. President Taye also noted the importance of sustaining the standards that earned the airline national recognition. For his part, Ethiopian Airlines Group CEO Mesfin Tasew said the airline is expanding both international and domestic destinations, with plans to reach 242 international destinations worldwide. CEO Mesfin also assured that Ethiopian Airlines will continue to strengthen its work to maintain and enhance international competitiveness.
