President William Ruto captivated Kenyans after wearing the Kapsabet Boys' uniform on Thursday. The President had attended the Kapsabet Boys' Centenary Celebrations, a monumental event marking 100 years since the establishment of the national school. The prestigious boys’ school has celebrated a century of academic excellence, infrastructural growth, and rich heritage. Maiyo said Ruto joined Kapsabet Boys in 1985 and slept in cube 5, which he alluded to as being the fifth president of Kenya. The president mused that Kapsabet Girls' is the only girls' school with ‘old boys,' pointing to the school being previously a boys' school in 1924.
