President William Ruto has made major changes in KEBS hours after firing John Njiraini and several others for releasing contaminated sugar to the public. President Ruto has appointed Esther Ngari as the managing director though in an acting capacity. President Ruto has remained firm and clear that government officers who will fail to perform their duties as per the law will obviously face his wrath. John Njiraini who was fired by president William Ruto was a powerful ally of former president Uhuru Kenyatta. President Ruto has also warned those who have been appointed in KEBS that any small mistake of allowing contaminated food into the Kenyan market will be punished.
