Monday, August 8, 2016 President Macri meets with UN Secretary Ban Ki-moonUnited Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon met today with President Mauricio Macri. Malcorra worked with Ban Ko-moon previously at the UN, but is lagging so far in the race to replace him. A meeting with Foreign Minister Susana Malcorra took place earlier, amid the latter’s bid to replace him as Secretary General. A lunch service honouring the visitor will take place at the Government House Museum, with cabinet members, lawmakers, military chiefs, businessmen and special guests in assistence. The UNSG head arrived in Aeroparque from Paraguay last night, and was visiting the Pink House.
