President Uhuru Kenyatta [Courtesy]President Uhuru Kenyatta has sent messages of condolence to the families of former Nyeri Town MP Peter Gichohi Muriithi, and Major General (Rtd) George Agoi. Maj-Gen (Rtd) George Agoi died on Monday while Hon PG Muriithi passed away yesterday. In a separate condolence message to the family of Major General (Rtd) George Nadida Agoi, the President mourned the highly decorated military commander as a true patriot and a heroic public servant. “With the passing away of Major General (Rtd) George Agoi, Kenya has lost a national hero and icon of humanitarian service. The Head of State wished the families of Hon PG Muriithi and Maj-Gen (Rtd) George Agoi, God's fortitude as they come to terms with the passing away of the two leaders.
