Monrovia, Liberia — December 17, 2025: President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., officially launched the Instant Inclusive Payment System (IIPS) yesterday, marking a transformative step toward expanding digital financial access and modernizing the payment infrastructure of Liberia. Regarding infrastructure, the platform complements physical road construction by creating digital financial connections that link isolated communities. President Boakai further emphasized that financial inclusion should be viewed as a right rather than a privilege. President Boakai credited this achievement to the robust collaboration between the Central Bank of Liberia, various financial institutions, mobile money operators, and international development partners. In his closing remarks, President Boakai called upon individuals, businesses, and institutions to adopt and innovate on the new platform.
