Their effort was recognized by the Liberian leader, President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, who was visited by, at her Foreign Affairs office in Monrovia, prominent women from the African continent. She went on further to tell the President that the WSR has documented 784 election incidents collected from the field. Chesson-Wureh presented a press statement of all of their activities to the Liberian Leader for her perusal. Responding, President Sirleaf praised the group for the level of work they are doing to ensure that peace is maintained. The Liberian leader cautioned the women to remain on the path of peace that they have dedicated their lives to.
