Channel Three has confirmed it will screen Love Island UK, from June 5. Three bought the rights to the reality television franchise, announcing in March it would screen Love Island UK, Love Island US and Love Island Australia. Love Island became one of the most popular shows for TVNZ's On Demand platform. Caroline Flack, who had worked on Love Island since 2015, would once again host the programme. Channel Three boss Andrew Szusterman said he hoped Love Island would become "appointment viewing".
