Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has called upon the leaders and workers of her party to prepare themselves for the next general election. The premier was addressing the leaders of Awami League at her Dhanmondi party office in the capital on Saturday. The prime minister said the country will see tremendous progress if Awami League remains in power as Awami League does politics to protect the interest of people and build their fate. On completion of the mega project, Hasina said, many countries might follow the initiative of Bangladesh as an example. Later, the prime minister held a meeting with party high-ups.
