Share TweetBy Hanah TabiosPreparations are ongoing for the much-anticipated proclamation of the winning senators and party-list groups in the May 13 midterm elections at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) Forum 2 despite the cancellation of the supposed ceremony on Tuesday evening. The dry run is being led by Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Assistant Director Frances Arabe on the eighth day of the vote canvassing. Each of the 12 winning senators will only be allowed to bring a maximum of 10 companions, while the party-list winners will only be allowed to present their winning nominees because of the venue’s limited space. Earlier, Comelec Spokesperson James Jimenez told the media that there was no confirmation from Malacañang regarding President Rodrigo Duterte’s attendance.
