Hamilton Zoo is preparing for the most frightening night of the year. Guy Fawkes night always sparks zoo staff into thinking about how to keep the animals safer than normal. "It's no different than your furry family member at home," Hamilton Zoo curator Catherine Nichols said. CHRISTEL YARDLEY/STUFF Herd animals such as zebra are likely to be frightened by fireworks. There are zoo residents who live on-site and the entire zoo is secured with perimeter fencing which is monitored both day and night and is alarmed so there should be any runway bison on Tuesday night.
