South Gate basketball players always get fired up for rivalry games against South East and Legacy. In the city of South Gate, there’s three high schools nearby one another, which draws fans to gyms, football fields, soccer fields, baseball and softball diamonds. South Gate and South East are set to play in a Friday night Eastern League basketball game. Legacy is also in South Gate. In South Gate, three high schools are battling for city bragging rights, and every matchup feels like a playoff game.
