Tia Kofi has released a stunning acoustic cover of Mud’s chart-topping holiday classic ‘Lonely This Christmas’. Boasting a simple piano, guitar and strings, the Drag Race UK alum’s vocals and harmonies soar in a much-needed modern (and queerified) version of the Christmas staple. The star previously dabbled in the Christmas genre with a cover of Britney Spears’ festive extravaganza ‘My Only Wish (This Year)’. Tia collaborated on the track with Priyanka, who memorably conquered the first season of Canada’s Drag Race. Since catapulting to fame on the aforementioned BBC series, Tia has performed as events such as Poptasia, Mighty Hoopla, Essex Pride and Bristol Pride.
