Erik ten Hag's side had one of the best defensive records in the Premier League last season but their attacking output was the least fruitful of any side that finished inside the top six. Instead, though he has impressed in Europe, he is still searching for his first Premier League goal. Both players have flexed their versatility, playing both out wide and through the middle, repaying their respective managers with goals and assists. Looking at United's attacking output so far this season, they need all the help they can get.
