The state of the area on Friday, May 08, 2020 after the septic tank explosion at Dighirpar Mollarbari area of Bandar upazila, Narayanganj CollectedEight, including two minors, also injuredA pregnant woman and two children were killed in a septic tank explosion in Bandar upazila of Narayanganj. The incident took place in the Dighirpar Mollarbari area of Bandar around 6am on Friday, confirmed Bandar police station OC Rafiqul Islam. The deceased were identified as Laboni Akter, 30, and two minors Masnun, 12, and Jisan, 8, sons of Runa Akhter. Runa, mother of Masnun and Jisan, said her sons were sleeping on the room just avobe the septic tank. She woke upon hearing the sound of the explosion and had found four rooms of the apartment broken in the blast.
