Keeping in mind the prestigious Chairman Cup in Sweden in July this year and the Youth World Cup in Croatia in August, the bridge federation has made these decisions, informed Bangladesh Bridge Federation president Mushfiqur Rahim MohonBangladesh Bridge Federation has appointed Pranab Bardhan and Shibnath Dey Sarkar as the captains of the senior and junior national teams. Keeping in mind the prestigious Chairman Cup in Sweden in July this year and the Youth World Cup in Croatia in August, the bridge federation has made these decisions, informed BBF president Mushfiqur Rahim Mohon. This was declared during the occasion of a bridge training workshop at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology premises. Bangladesh bridge team are currently ranked 22nd in the world ranking. The bridge federation is also planning to put together a women’s national team in future.
