According to them, the unusual nature of the shortage has sent the area into a crisis and are therefore calling on authorities to quickly address the situation. It was said by a resident it took the intervention of the NPP parliamentary candidate for the area, Alex Martey to supply the residents with water supply on that day. The 8-minute-long video captures some residents of the area with almost all their water storage items out in the open to fetch water from the tank. The GWCL says the development will allow for technicians to undergo maintenance work at the Kpong Water Treatment Plant.
