NEW DELHI : The Kejriwal government in Delhi on Tuesday announced the renaming of Pragati Maidan metro station as the Supreme Court metro station. Addressing a press conference, Deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia said the Delhi government's naming committee has decided to rename the Pragati Maidan metro station as Supreme Court metro station. Manish Sisodia, Delhi Deputy CM: Mukarba Chowk will be named as Shahid Vikram Batra Chowk. Metro station near Supreme Court that was called Pragati Maidan, will now be called Supreme Court Metro Station. "Mukarba Chowk and the flyover have been renamed by the naming committee as Captain Vikram Batra Chowk after the martyr who sacrificed his life in the Kargil War," ANI reported.
