Mallikarjun Kharge remark on Modi: Amid the Opposition’s demand for debate over Manipur violence, Rajya Sabha was adjourned till 2 pm on Thursday. Kharge requested the chair to conduct a debate on Manipur violence under Rule 167 and sought the presence of Prime Minister Modi. He said, “Pradhan Mantri ke aane se kya hone wala hai, kya parmatma hai woh? It is noted that The House has witnessed a stalemate over the Manipur issue. The government has informed us that it is willing to hold a debate over the Manipur issue at the right time.
