Efforts are being made by BBMB in arranging a new power transformer from Punjab/Haryana. UT electricity department superintending engineer MP Singh said, “The BBMB transformer has been damaged and we will take another 25 days to procure a new one. The problemA power transformer at grid substation, BBMB Industrial Area, was damaged on June 23. MP Singh added, “The problem is Southern sectors is due to supply problem from SAS Nagar. The reason, the transformer of the Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) that was damaged on Thursday is unlikely to be replaced before 25 days.
