In a statement issued on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, the Ministry said its technical team successfully resolved the fault at approximately 1:00 a.m. The Ministry added that nearly all causes of the recent outages in Kumasi and parts of Accra have now been rectified. Energy Ministry reaffirms commitment to rural electrification and grid stabilityThe Ministry noted that engineers are continuing work to address remaining technical challenges affecting parts of Tema and Adenta. The Ministry assured consumers of its continued commitment to ensuring a reliable and consistent power supply nationwide, emphasising ongoing monitoring and technical interventions to prevent further disruptions.
