All train lines are impacted by a power outage at Kaiwharawhara. Trains running on the Kāpiti line in and out of Wellington have been suspended because of a power outage. ​Metlink spokeswoman Emily Liddell said the cause of the power outage along a portion of track in Kaiwharawhara, which is used by the train line, is unknown. The power outage was first recorded at 7.30am on Tuesday.
