Thousands of people in the Auckland suburb of Massey have had their electricity cut off tonight due to power-line damage. Vector was advised of the fault just before 9.30pm. More than 1700 houses are affected, according to the power company's outage page. A Vector staff member said several power lines were down but "there might be other faults as well". "We don't have any solid updates yet."
