The Channel Tunnel was closed to rail traffic around 3pm on Tuesday afternoon as a power cut in the tunnel caused long delays for passengers. "Our trains are currently delayed because of overhead power supply problems in the Eurotunnel," the company wrote on its website. A spokesperson said on the official Twitter account that they could not give an estimate as to how long the trains would be delayed. — Eurostar (@Eurostar) October 18, 2016The company said no trains were stuck in the tunnel itself.
