Powerco is investigating the cause of a power cut in Palmerston North (file photo). Power was cut to traffic lights on Tremaine Ave and about 950 properties in Roslyn in Palmerston North. Powerco network operations manager Phil Marsh said the cut happened at 10.48am because of a cable fault. In a separate outage, about 80 properties on Camerons Line were without power from 11.30am until 1.10pm while contractors repaired a pole that was damaged overnight.
