Possible rainfall may bring relief to a simmering Delhi next week

Photo: HTNew Delhi: Delhi is likely to get some respite from scorching heat as there is a possibility of rain next week from Monday to Wednesday, the Regional Weather Forecasting Centre (RWFC) said on Friday. Although the minimum temperature will be around 25 degrees Celsius, the maximum would still hover around 39 to 42 degrees Celsius, as per the forecast. No showers are predicted for the weekend but the maximum and minimum temperatures will be in the range of what has been forecast for Monday and Tuesday. Some parts of the capital saw showers on Wednesday last week with the minimum temperature settling around 24.4 degrees Celsius—normal for the season—while the maximum was about 40.1 degrees Celsius.
