The Urban Renewal Authority receives more than 4,906 applications for its 43 remaining units in eResidence which are designated as “Starter Homes” units upon the application deadline at 7pm yesterday. The Hong Kong Housing Society has been commissioned by the authority to carry out the eligibility vetting process. Random assignment of priority numbers will be conducted in December 2020 to determine the priority numbers of applicants, followed by applicants’ interview in the order of their priority numbers within a specified period of time. The exact dates of flat selection will be announced by the authority in due course.
