Authorities in Portugal have facilitated the COVID-19 restrictions in order to permit a larger number of internationals to visit the country. According to the official travel portal of Portugal, Visit Portugal, currently, all passengers, regardless of their country of origin, are allowed to enter for all kinds of purposes, provided they meet their entry rules. Based on a statement published by Visit Portugal, all passengers entering the country are obliged to present a valid EU Digital COVID Certificate or another equivalent document upon their arrival. Such figures show that this is 85.6 per cent of those who arrived in the same month of 2019.
