Pornhub’s parent company, MindGeek, is facing a proposed $600 million class-action lawsuit from an Ontario woman who says she experienced sexual abuse at the age of 12 which was filmed and shared online. A woman, known in the document as Jane Doe, submitted the application for authorization of the class action at Quebec’s Superior Court. MindGeek is the Montreal-based parent company of Pornhub, YouPorn and RedTube, as well as other similar websites. The class action is seeking $500 million in damages for members and a further $100 million in punitive damages for the company. “When in reality, GirlsDoPorn intended to publish the videos online, including on MindGeek sites.”Loading...
