Popular, two other diagnostic centres fined Tk 1.3 million for irregularities

The three centres are Popular Diagnostic Centre, Regent Hospital and Diagnostic Centre, and Medic Health Diagnostic Centre. At Popular Diagnostic Centre in Section 10, the court found date-expired chemicals were being used for pathological tests. The magistrate found that the employees or technicians, and not the doctors, were signing test results at the diagnostic centre. The organisation was fined Tk 600,000 for the two counts of serious irregularities. The court fined it Tk 100,000.
