A WELL-KNOWN Rangers pub could be wound up, just weeks after closing for "refurbishments". The Bristol Bar in Dennistoun, Glasgow, has been a popular haunt for Rangers fans for years, but closed its doors to punters last month. However, it has now emerged that the pub's lawyers have petitioned the court for a winding-up order, which could lead to the company being liquidated. The company which owns the Bristol Bar - Bristol Bar (Glasgow) Ltd - has been issued with first Gazette notices five times since it was founded in 2010, according to Companies House. The Bristol Bar and solicitors Bellwether Green have been approached for comment.
