The veteran politician died at the Aga Khan Hospital, where he had been receiving treatment after a long illness. Nominated senator Victor PrengeiNominated senator Victor Prengei succumbed to his injuries on Monday, August 16, night while receiving treatment at Nakuru Level Five Hospital. Prior to his death, Osinde served as the Chief of Staff in the Office of Deputy President William Ruto. The details of his illness have remained scanty; however, sources close to the Office of the Deputy President intimated he had been battling liver complications for the last couple of months.
