After a two-day visit to Cyprus, the Pope traveled to Greece. Greece is one of the main gateways to the European Union for asylum seekers fleeing their homes suffering from war and poverty in the Middle East, Asia and Africa. Moria was accused by rights groups for its filthy and overcrowded situation, and asylum seekers stood up and cried and sought help. In Athens, the Pope will meet the Greek President and Prime Minister, and young people at a Catholic school.
