American pop artist Robert Indiana, best known for his 1960s “Love” series, has died at his island home off the coast of Maine aged 89. In Maine, Mr Mills said he was inspired by the Whitney’s efforts to produce a 2016 exhibition, Robert Indiana: Now And Then.
