Photo: SuppliedSince graduating as a vet in 2004, Vetcare Kaikoura director Rebecca Fleming has seen many changes to technology which save time when analysing animal injuries and illness. She also uses a webcam to monitor her hospitalised patients, which saves her many trips to her practice, VetCare Kaikoura, which she has owned with her husband Dan since 2008. "That's hard because for about 90 per cent of that area there's no cellphone coverage". VetCare Kaikoura also utilised email to connect with clients on a regular basis and has a Facebook page with more than 700 followers.
