A three-member team, headed by Pooja, are currently in the Philippines to attend the event, which started on April 26 and will end on April 30. She was also invited to last year’s Dance Xchange event. A wide range of events involving dance were planned during the week by the Philippine government to welcome international mainstream dance groups to the country, with the motto of “Cultural Connectivity through Dance”. Last year, Pooja Sengupta’s workshop on traditional “Aroti” dance was attended by almost one thousand Filipino dance instructors.
